History of the E-Z-GO Golf Cart

EZGO was started by two brothers, Billie and Beverly Dolan, in 1954. Later on, they sold the company to the current owners, Textron Company. Both brothers continued to work with Textron until 1978. Currently, E-Z-GO headquarters is based in Augusta, Georgia.

Started in a small machine shop, the E-Z-GO company has upgraded throughout the years to a huge state-of-art facility. They have maintained the position of one of the most popular golf cart manufacturers in the world today.
