Extreme Golf Cart Makeover (Episode 4)
Welcome back to our Extreme Golf Cart Makeover. In this series, we are working hard to customize our Yamaha G29 Drive golf cart. We are already at episode four, and it's hard to hold onto our excitement. We tore the whole golf cart in the previous episode and made it ready for a color-matched upgrade.
In today's episode of Extreme Golf Cart Makeover, we're going to cover installing our light kit wiring to the cart chassis, and we'll also install the light fixtures to our new custom DoubleTake Vortex body kit.
Our golf cart makeover starts from this episode and we are super excited about that. Be ready to see some great new golf cart parts. We started today's work with a step-by-step process.
Step 1
We started with pre-installing light kit wiring through the cart while there were no body panels in our way.
Step 2
Next, we removed the protective film from the new body panel in our Vortex body kit. These body panels come wrapped in protective plastic and are shipped separately from the other items. So we needed some time to remove this film and polish the surface.
Step 3
Then, we carefully attached the light fixtures to get the body ready for the next phase of our installation. Installing the body to the cart to start the transformation is one of the most fun and exciting parts of golf cart makeovers!
